I will Survive...Dont know if they will!

I went to a Rich man's house,
was invited for a treat.
There was a large spread,
with all the tasty meat.
They ate all they could,
The rest was "Throw the food".
Then I asked "So how was the day?"
They said "Survived Yesterday, Will live tomorrow".

I went to a working man's house,
Each one had a plate,
To feed the stomach they ate.
The little one wanted some more bread.
The piggy bank was broken and off daddy went.
The little one was now over fed and they said "He eats well".
And i asked "How was the day?"
They said "Survived Yesterday, Will Manage tomorrow as well".

I went to a Poor Man's house,
There was a pie,
I asked him if he made it himself
and he said he could cook real fine.
I knew it was a lie,
Coz he was the guy in the bakery asking for some food or a dime.
And i asked him "How was the day?"
He replied "Survived Yesterday, Hope to live tomorrow".

I went to Africa,
Where children were dying.
They were hungry,
but eating was a crime.
And with a tear in my eye,
I asked "How was the day?"
They said "Some survived yesterday and some might even live tomorrow".

its amazing how one statement became a whole theory,
thou pondering so much becomes quite creepy,
when you look in the mirror and ask yourself the same question,
what answer lies at your discretion?

PS: really well written. i like i like.

jokes apart dude , I wonder whether people who crib to their mom about "yeh fir kya sabzi bana di hai" et al , ever wonder about what you have mentioned !

I know this would sound cliche , but we should really be thankful to god for whatever we have and if we are ever in a position to help , the people in need , we should ...

ahem ahem ... this may seem like plagiarism .. but "thousand points to you !"

The best way I can express is through tears. Cribbing is the nature of humans. We never think people who are less fortunate than us. Well written and may many lives change after reading this.

Kudos!!
