I was wondering if we have ever wondered what would happen if our brains didnt wonder.....
Alrite! coming to the point now...
I am sure all of us have something in the background that is continously going on inside our heads....Its like when we are working there is something else that is also going on in that tiny head....like some song u heard on the radio while on ur way to work...or thinking about a event that is coming up..something like a movie plan or a party at a friends place.
Now think if our brains jus didnt multi task....we would have to be in a situation to actually experience it.
Its like when u r working all u do is think of what u r doing...no songs in the background...no "What should i wear to the party tonight"...no "she loves me she loves me not"...Jus No imagination.
Imagine a world without imagination...a world where ur brain processes only what your eyes see...its like when u r looking at a field...all the brain says is "Grass, Green"....When you look at a beautiful girl pass you by all you brain says "Girl"...no more "Man! she is...."
It would be awful to live in a such a world where your brain would talk to you 'To the Point'.
The entire process of imagination is so natural...all u need to do is trigger it off with a little thought and u have no idea what it can lead to.....u can imagine urself wrestling with the lion or being crowned Miss Universe( i am sure 70% of woman have already)...did u realise that ur imagining things even when u r reading this....well all of you who just imagined wrestling with the lion in an African Jungle please comment and let me know.
Well so the point i wanted to make is that its not possible to imagine a world without any imagination...its like watching "American Idol" on sound mute.
So imagine and let ur imagination run wild!

I don't think a lack of imagination is a pre-requisite for being 'to the point'. Or vice versa.
In fact, perhaps it would be wonderful to become a person who thinks only about work while working and fun while playing. Why mix the two? You risk missing out on some of the fun and reducing efficiency.
You can even imagine things when ur working....its like when u rdoing one thing ur brain in the background is already making aplan on what you are about to do next!
I did a detailed post-mortem of your writ up ;) in order to reply to your comment. And i infer that you are talking about two things -
1. seeing things as they are ('Grass, green..') and
2. working with full concentration
('Its like when u r working all u do is think of what u r doing...no songs in the background...')
While 1 is spontaneous and normal with everyone (unless education and work has made a dodo out of you), 2 is something a lot of people strive towards.
Good One.. Wonder a guy like Neil.. Wat he would be imagining all the time.. May be his brain might be processing only two things.. Biggest amongst cousins and P***.. LOL!
